My PhD and Post Doctorate work was relative to laser spectroscopy of alcaline atoms at the interface with dielectric surfaces, by means of surface sensitive laser spectroscopy technique known as Selective Reflection spectroscopy (1990 - 1995)

During the period, 1995-2005, I focused on the surface physics of ultra thin phthalocyanine films deposited on III-V semiconductor surfaces via several techniques mainly Electron Energy Loss Spectroscopy (HREELS), Synchrotron Radiation X-Ray Photoemission Absorption Spectroscopy (PES, NEXAFS), Low Energy Electron Diffraction (LEED) & Scanning Tunneling Microscopy (STM).

Since 2006 my research oriented towards structural virology via protein crystallography and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) of non structural viral proteins and complexes.
